Need: This federal agency hired us to develop a grant management system to accommodate grant reporting, funding, and performance monitoring by both Grantors and Grantees. The agency wanted this application to be efficient and effective using the latest technologies.
Solution: After a thorough needs assessment, our team executed a custom SDLC roadmap. The app ran on an Oracle Database with Oracle Replication, serving two master sites and eight replicated sites. The custom application was developed using Oracle Application Server, Forms Service, and Reports Service. The system also hosts an Internet site deployed using Oracle Portal. Since the system was initially launched, it has been easily upgraded with new features using the newest versions of Oracle.
